Skiing after recovery from Lyme Disease

My name is Jiří Těhan. I had Lyme disease about ten years ago.

It left me with permanent paralysis of my left leg. I tried to be active in sports, but gradually I had to give up squash, badminton and tennis. Two years ago I thought I would have to stop skiing as well. I didn’t have the strength in my legs to control them safely. The risk of injury has increased.

I can enjoy skiing to the fullest again.

I happened to see the Geysir show some time ago, where Staki skis were also presented. Skis that are finished with a special foot that makes handling easier. I tried them out in February and found that I can enjoy skiing to the fullest again.
